temperature gauge sticking half way

   can anyone help me my temperature gauge stays half way even when my engine is not running .

   Do u mean after it has been driven or does it do it all the time like say for instance a cold mornin you go out to start the car and its sitting at half way?? If its just after its been driven for a while mines does the same till it cools down

   Is the fan kicking out and in? As if its working normally, have u tried the ovlbvious suck as fuses and disconnect the battery over nyt then reconnect it?

   the fan kicks in as normal an gose off as normal not looked at any fuese or taken the battery off but will give that a try .
