superglue in windscreen chip?

    Right a mate of mine has just got a new car and the only thing wrong with it is a chip in the windscreen.

    The windscreen will be getting replaced at some point but we were thinking if we could build it up with super glue then polish it up?

    No idea what the pro's use and tbh the cheapest we could find was £70 per chip And its not much more to buy new glass.
