help needed please

   hi guys my mot is due tommorrow and my lights have started being funny my lights on my dials have stopped working and my back light has stopped working changed the bulb and still no different i plug the left side one in that works and plug it into the right side and it still dosent come on the brake light stopped aswell but that works now but its just wierd how its stopped and now wont work it cant be caused by a fuse can it ?

   the back lights not working ive checked all fuses and bulbs at the same time the dashboard lights speedo ect.. dont work and with the lights on when you undo the doors it dosent make the noise warning you the lights are on ? wierd tbh

   thats brill mate , but no fuses have gone :/ also sidelights have stopped working

   mine did same thing, turned out to be an unused wire behind stereo kept touching metal and shorting it out. ended up burning all plastic on wire and filling car with smoke lol
