component recognition

    Hello im hoping someone can help identify this part without a pic...it has facom 2.2 microfarad on top of it and is located to the top right side of the rocker box and had 1 wire attatched into loom its on a 2001 1.1 ? please help as i think this may add to the eng temp light being on permanently and other issues>>>>>

    really ? i only ask because when i touched the mounting with the wire that was broken off it the was a big spark and it cut the engine slightly??
