Twin fan spinning wrong way?

Hey guys.

Got my VTS engine in the VTR now.

Got a problem though, well a couple if i'm honest.

First one being, the original VTS fan doesn't kick in.

Second being, the second fan (GTI) is wired up to a switch on the dash. However when I turn it on, it blows out the front of the car and not into the radiator.

Any help will be much appreciated.

1, check the relays, check there is 12v, check the earth, check the thermoswitch, check the fan.

2, swap the wires round.

Where's the thermo switch? And swap swap the wires at the switch or where I wired into the fan?

Is the fan spinning the wrong way not a matter of it being on the wrong way round?

They only go in one way, i'm sure...

Spinning the wrong way on the universal slimline ones means just swap the wires from the fan over, ie put + to - and - to + if that makes sense shannon... Not sure if the OE equipment is the same, but i know for certain it is with the universal stuff..

I'll see if i can mess around tomorrow for you too
