Lambda Sensor, what the....?

About 4 Years go, qwik fit fitted a new Oilfilter as part of a service. It holed about a month after and sparyed oil over the sensor below. The engine warning light has been on since. O2 sensor they said.

This is a lambda sensor, right?

Got a new one from eBay for what should have been my model, 51 reg VTR. It was far too short.

How do I find one for a decent price, that I know works, ie: can i trust a secondhand one? Anyone bought one and can say the spec?

    Probably going to try GSFcarparts.

    Thanks for any replies.....

Please close the door on your way out.

2 makes should only be used for lambda's in my opinion Delphi and Bosch Both come with more wiring than you need and both come with 3 year warranty.

Never use the cheap ebay ones they need to be joined and you cant technically join them correctly and keep your Ecu happy the only way to do it is to use a stainless/ brass crimp.

Don't be cheap about it in the long run it will prob's make your car run better and be more efficient.

Theres budget parts and then theres just wasting your money. A good second hand one is a better bet if hes skint

    The one following the cat?

if he is on a budget with a lanbda sensor then its not worth replacing. Its either a good one or not one at all
