Quick question on gti 180 brake upgrade

  1. #1
Got everything I need I think:

    Discs, pads, Caliper, Carrier.

My question is, do I need to run a different brake line or will the original saxo one go in? My plan is to run a set of braided lines eventually but dont have the time to get any at the moment.

Any help would be great, cheers

You will need some longer brake lines to go from the caliper to the fixed line on the car. You should have got them with the calipers if they are second hand. If not, MST motor factors will do standard ones for pretty cheap.

Some people run standard Saxo lines without issue
Others have found they pull tight at extremes of steering and or suspension travel.

Do not use the 206 lines they are too long.
Braided lines don't take long to find in the correct length
