cat to mani bolts

the bolts that hold mani to the cat do they have to be the orginal threaded ones? or can i just put some that fit?

I just used bigger bolts and nuts for the cat to mani join. No springs though.

When I looked under my last saxo to change the exhaust. They had been replaced with 2 big fuck off bolts and springs. Must have been 5" M12 bolts with hench springs.
They did the job fine though, was just an arse to undo with the thread being ridiculously long.

Ideally, you need the springs in though, to allow flex/movement. If you just use Nuts and bolts, the vibrations will no doubt cause the manifold join at the bottom to snap.

Don't see why you cant use different ones either.
