0.33amp battery drain

So, my 1.1 keep cutting out so I decided to check the battery, finding out I have 0.33 amp battery drain, have a feeling this is way too high? Any ideas?

Go round the fuse box a fuse at a time with a meter and see what circuits are draining the power. Most fuses have visible metal terminals that you can use for the meter leads. That way you can diagnose what is draining the power and if it's a problem.

Is the drain when it's running, not running, or both?

0.33 amps doesn't sound that high to me. If it's starting OK but cutting out when it is running the drain probably isn't the cause.

0.33 amps is when the car is off, with nothing on

Does the car start OK? Now I actually think properly 0.33 is a pretty big drain so will want sorting.

Use the meter on the fuses as I said above to determine what circuits are causing the drain first and go from there.

The car starts perfectly fine, if it cuts out, it will still start fine, will look at the drain tomorrow, can't be doing with wind and rain!

Yeah, not the best weather for it. It's unlikely the cutting out is because of the drain though if it starts fine every time. Wait until the weather is better and see if you can find what's draining the power. Will probably see a reply on here next May....

Turns out the drain is 0.03 amps... the radio ups it to 0.33 when it first turns on.. woops! Anyone know the voltages/current that the alternator should have?
