    Ok looking at doing cams and throttle body on my vts... Went to a place called austec and they said it would only gain about 40bhp from both of these along with remap and a chip... Is that right?

    Also when I spoke they said it can cost about £5000 for them to buy and fit? Does that seem right...? Live down south like 20mins away from Brighton so if anyone is from around there and can name some place nearby to get quotes would much appreciate it

    assuming you have a full exhaust and high lift cams as well, you should look at about 40bhp gain at most over standard. as for the £5k, thats a fair amount. the throttle body conversion on its own cost me approximately £1k for second hand parts fitted myself

    Hey, if you can get the parts I'll do the work. I'm based about 10 mins from Crawley, near newdigate! My rates are VERY reasonable.

    The only thing I can't do is your mapping.

    Austec are stupid! They turn away cars that aren't TVR's usually.

    Ok sounds cool who would you recommend for remaps near here... And perhaps a diff Ecu... And I'm in Copthorne so yeah about 10 mins

    Surrey rolling road 'may' be able to help. But other than them, who I've never used. You'll hear a lot of good things about Atspeed.
