hi all, im new here and in need of help.
im not the remotest bit mechanical so you will need to give me advice in the simplest possible way, haha.
today i selected reverse to pull into a space and there was a clunk and then the gear stick went floppy. i tried to select drive and nuetral but it stayed in reverse.
i spoke to someone who said it is possibly the linkage?
it is now stuck where i left it and it wont start due to it being in reverse.
is there any way that i can knock it out of reverse so i can either tow it OR even better get it into drive so i can get it home?
any advice is greatly appreciated.
