Jumpy car

   Asking on behalf of my mate, he owns a clio 1.2 and drove through a puddle earlier and now the car is jumpy also having black smoke come out the exhaust?

   As said in previous thread today. Clean air box spark plugs out, and turn the engine. Would hopefully get any water out.

   I had a look earlier and water must of went up his induction kit from the grill, through the carb in to the engine cause it sounds terrible.. doesn't idle right.. smoke come out the injectors when I pulled them out after running for 5 minutes.. got a second opinion from greenflag and they said the cars pretty much a write off.
