Turbo con

   Simo, you got a Garret T2 turbo on your car but what type of T2 turbo is it.
   
   I`m looking around too do a turbo conversion myself but i need too now what type T2 turbo i need too use(my turbo dealer needs too now!).
   
   
   
   If i use the MF2 and stand alone MAP sensor too set the fueling do i still need too fit a Dastek or fuel regulator.

   You shouldnt need a dastek.. mine wired in but not in use. Dont have to uprate fuel pressure, but it helps a little.
   
   
   
   Use whatever turbo you feel happy with relly? You dont want anything too laggy... T2/T25.
   
   
   
   Mines based around the nissan sylvia turbo, but its a bit of a makeup. As long as you get the right configuration for your downpipe, etc i'm sure it'll be fine.

   OK, soo if i fit a T2 turbo and wireup a MF2 whit a standalone MAP sensor the car whil be running just fine.
   
   
   
   i`m also getting a air/fuel ratio and turbo meter to monitor them.

   You may have a few niggles if you allow the ecu to see boost through the std map sensor, but the worst that happens is that the ecu would log a map sensor fault.
   
   
   
   The car would still run... it just wouldnt be using the lambda system as it should. A sigcon would get around this though..

   Also how hard is it to wire up a 5th injector aswell so can map it using a mf2

   Piss easy. The MF2 comes with a bosch injector plug. You have to crimp two wires from the MF2 into the plug. youd be best getting a 90 degree holder, injector, samco and MF2 from GMC.

   If you don,t want to use a sig con then i suggest you disconnect the lambda sensor,as it will try to lean the fuelling if yo don,t ,when ever you have less than full throttle. eventually the std map sensor will fail as it is not meant to see boost .if you keep boost to below 5psi then it should stay in one bit for a while. but as they cost lots of money its better to fit 2 bar unit and sig con ,it will run better and no fault lights and proper lambda control as well,yes it costs ,butbest you bought eh simo!! ther is another way you can do it with a vac swtich to disconnect the lambda ,but it only works on early type ecu,s

    The sigcon costs (especially when you dont think you need one.. <img src= "smileys/smiley2.gif"> ) but is definately worth having!!
    
    
    
    I tested my car with the lambda system working and not working... With the lambda disconnected I used about 30% more fuel over the same distance with it connected up.
    
    
    
    So every mile you are saving money with the sigcon...

    Yes, it's running amazingly well! That journey to Newton Stewart was definatley the turning point in the car's life.
