#2for what saxo. The elm 327 will work with 2001 onwards cars (3 plug, non-crossover)

#399' 1.1 white Saxo. My saxo is OBD compatible. Tried today Elm 327 with Android Torque App, it connected, but couldn't find protocol

#4The clue is in your description. Your saxo is not ODB compatible. You have an ODB socket in the passenger footwell - that is not the same thing as being compatibleQuote:99' 1.1 white Saxo. . Only the 3 plug cars are fully ODB compliant - which is why yours, being single plug, isn't working.
Elm 327 works fine on later cars.

#5That's weird. I have standard OBD 16pin socket, and I cannot do anything?
-
#6PP2000 or Lexia.
many cars have had the DL16 plug since the early 90's, but Euro OBD compliance was only law from 02 on for petrol passenger vehicles.
Commercials are different again (bastards) i.e a transit van has a DL16 plug, but I haven't used a reader yet that gets any sense at all from them, and Iveco's have their own proprietary round plug that only Iveco agents have. -
#7I got exactly the same thing over the weekend. It can read RPM and fault codes thats about it on a mk1. A later car will have better support for features.
However mine does connect, i'd try a bluetooth equipped laptop - phones are funny when it comes to bluetooth -
#8I can't do anything, even on my laptop. What software are you using?Quote:I got exactly the same thing over the weekend. It can read RPM and fault codes thats about it on a mk1. A later car will have better support for features.
