Saxo 1.1 engine with strange noise

   Rough guess i'd say alternator bearing.

   I was thinking either a bearing or a belt. All belts look ok though

   sounds like a bearing or a belt thats too tight to me. take the belt off and spin the alternator pulley see f its rough

   Yeah what tom said. Just spin the pulley you'll feel if its dodgy. . You should be able to hear if its that really without taking it off.

   My dad said it sounds like the cam belt too tight, but unless it can tighten itself somehow, there's no way it can be as it hasn't been touched. I'll check the alternator tomorrow

   Could also be your tensionor coming to think of it. If it is, then you might as well change the whole cam belt.
