Power steering fault

   Hey guys I recently bought my 1.6 phase 2 vtr saxo and its been fine apart from the front brake disks needing changing but the other day I was coming off the motorway and as I approached the roundabout my power steering just turned off with the oil, battery and the abs light turning on... I turned my car on n off and it was fine...
   Should I be worried

   check the earth points and see if there is evidence of water in the fuse box under bonnet

   does the car start ok, is the battery weak and is the alternator charging

   The alternator seems to be charging fine but when I start it there's more of a delay than usual

   that sounds like a bad connection, take a look at the earth points. also take a look at the starter motor connections to see if there is corrosion. has it happened since?

   No it hasn't ... N thanks for advice .. Where will the earth points be on it haven't had a French car before lol

   from memory i believe theres two on the gearbox one by the fusebox and one by the driver headlight. if theres any signs of rust or corrosion disconnect your earth on your battery and clean them all up usually a file across the nut and crimp on the wire and a gentle sand around the area that the crimp covers.
