Important! : grindy rattly noise

    hi all i have recently fitte a full saxsport system to my vts and since the between 2k-3krpm i have got a horrible vibrating noise coming from the front ive had the car up on a ramp went under and exhaut is fastend correctly and isnt catching anything even with a good wobble and advice thanks.

    When you had the car jacked up was the engine cold?As things like exhausts expand when hot so check the exhaust when its hot mate.

    no mate the car was hot hot hot still got the mark from were i grabbed it like a tool im wordering if it could be a drive shaft?

    When i had my clutch done i forgot to tighten the manifold bold that go's into the gearbox up properly causing a rattle...

    Get it up in the air and have someone hold the revs while u take a look under and try to recreate the noise

    Check the lower gearbox mount bolts

    Make sure the catalytic converter plate too, if the clip comes loose, it makes a horrible rattle. I had the same on my Saxo
