is there a difference between 8v and 16v bottom ends? i am looking at buying a turbo 16v with bottom end troubles of a member oh here. and in my shed i have a newly rebuilt 8v with forged pistons, lightened and balanced crank, ect ect am i on to a win or will my 180 brake 8v lump be useless

your looking at buying jones vts.. but already have a forged 8v bottom end!
what pistons are in your 8v? spec?
i might buy that off you..and you can put another 16v in the vts

#5all i know is that they are wossner high comp forged Pistons, it is a complete lump mate if Ur interested comes with a stage 2 gas flowed head, cat cam, new h/g and cambelt

#6also has the mapped ecu for that engine but needs unlocking due to imobiliser, also has larger injectors and a few other bits i can not think off
