one of the things the car failed on which i dont understand is:
Nearside front headlamp aim too low
how do i fix this?

If it was a half decent garage they would have adjusted it as all you do is use an allen key (On a MK2 Saxo with electric height adjuster) and turn it.

is it the allen key on the top of that black box?

Just turn the adjuster :/. Unless you got HIDS?

okay im sure i can do that haha, but how do i know when its at the right height to pass the mot?

Park about 6ft from a wall/garage door and try and align it with the other one that passed.
It would have taken the garage longer to fail it than adjust it.
Where I work we just adjust them.
