spacer lowering query??

  1. #1
I have spacers on my vtr front and rear bringing the wheels out a decent amount..... Im looking to lower my VTR 40mm but when ive seen them lowered around 60 i see the rear wheel is tucked behind the arch but my wheels will not fit behing the arch dur to the spacers. So basically with 40 mm should it be ok with aspacers dya reckon considering bumps and stuff aswell
    Cheers guys
    Jake

Oh ps i dont really wanna take them off as i like the look

should be fine on 40mm but depends on the size of the spacers 10mm spacers would be fine at 60. I tried 20mm with vts wheels which are wider and only had small scrubbing on the rear arches and im down 80mm

spacers are more hassel than there worth imo on standard wheels

you need to have a big enough arch gap so that with people in the back or when you hit bumps the tyre doesnt catch

    arch gap = gay

    id say it'll be fine

without spacers, or with smaller spacers so the wheels dont protrude from your arch you would be able to go much lower. But all depends how low you want
