Door hinges for saxo

    Hey guys, sorry if posted in wrong thread but i have a saxo 1.4 furio and the problem is the doors dont stay open they just swing out and in.

    Just curious if i can somehow get some door hinges so i dont have to hold the door whilst getting in and out? Just a simplier solution for me.

    door check strap sounds either missing or broken. This bit:


    If they're loose, just tighten them up (10mm). More likely pulled through and the nuts have come off (IE, the part on the left of the photo above is floating around not attached to anything). So you'll need to do a bit more.

    Remove the door card (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...emove+doorcard)

    Then fit your hand in to find the door catch and push the threads back through their holes. Then fit washers and 10mm nuts and you're done.

    If it's actually snapped, remove the catch from the door completely, wiggle it through the hole into the door and remove it, then hammer or drill out the base of the snapped threads and place 10mm bolts in there instead. Then put the catch back in the door and wiggle it through the hole again, lining the threads up with their holes.
