#2They will fit, but it wont be a straight swap.
You'll also need a new manifold, which can set you back upto £200 - Can get one cheaper used or make one yourself if you're handy with a welder.
They will be sufficient for a saxo though.
Even though it does say 100% complete, it wont be anywhere near complete for a car conversion. -
#3ok cheers mate

#4You would probably need standalone management too and higher fuel pressure or bigger injectors and have it all mapped to suit. You would notice the difference but probably not worth the money tbh

#5Correct me if im wrong, but they look like carbs to me, so wouldn't the fuel pressure regulator need to be of a low pressure?Quote:You would probably need standalone management too and higher fuel pressure or bigger injectors and have it all mapped to suit. As far as im aware, carbs run from a lower pressure than injection cars?
Then again, I suppose you would be able to use them as throttle bodies, and use the original placement, but larger injectors - providing you had an ecu and map to suit? -
#6i think im going to stick to basic bolt on mods for now and see how i get on over next year. dont wana spend too much cash on the vts then only use it a few times on track (doubtful but you never no)
cheers for the replys lads -
#7Yeah they look like carbs to me too, I'm not an expert on them, but you couldnt lower the fuel pressure as you would make the engine under fuel causing engine damage, I would of thought if anything you would raise it according to power gainsQuote:Correct me if im wrong, but they look like carbs to me, so wouldn't the fuel pressure regulator need to be of a low pressure?

#9Good quality exhaust there mate. Wouldn't really see the need to upgrade it next year though.
Cant say what it will sound like though. -
