belt slipping ??

   i have a high pitched squeel every now and again as if a belts slipping normally when its low revs sometimes does it when just sat in traffic neutral. when i accelerate it gets louder and faster sounds like its coming from around the drivers side wheel any ideas ? cheers

   Sounds like the fan belt wasnts changing. If you pm me your registration number i will quote you for a new one.

   Its an aux belt not a bloody fan belt :-/

   Mines doing exactly the same because the alternator is shot I put the battery charger on it and it instantly stops

   Well in your case that could be the alternator bearings making the noise.
