constant (when moving) dull thudding noise

Hi, right about 3 months ago one of my drive shaft's cv's went so i replaced both of the drive shafts and ever since i have had a slight dull thudding noise that changes with speed and does not mater if the engine is on or not as long as the cars moving

over the last few days its got considerably worse and now im getting this fairly harsh thudding noise through the car, it doesn't make a diff weather cornering or going straight, accelerating or decelerating no difference at all.

when i jack the car up and turn the front wheel's i get a sound almost like a coil spring pinging or something preloaded, this is especially bad on the drivers side, and also does it on the passenger side but no where near as bad

so im a bit stumped as to what it is :/

although i have a bad feeling its the dif

the car is lowered 50mm on grpN's this was done after the shafts were replaced but the noise has been there since fitting the shafts

    background info on the car
    its a 2002 vtr
2 new drive-shafts about 2 months ago (made by J&R)
both from wheel bearings about a year ago (15,000 miles high quality used)
    passenger front hub
new rear axle + hubs 2 months ago no noise at all so not the rear

I have done all the work, and haven't badged any thing

    car's costing me a fortune

    any help would be good

Correct shafts used with the wheel bearings?
Hard to say without looking at it or a video though, could be a buggered diff

Sounds like Wheel bearing, lift te car up in front.
Rotate one Wheel as fast as you can and held one hand on the spring/coil.
Does it vibrates? Then its a Wheel bearing.

I had this problem. When you driving does the noise sound a little bit like a rattle can when you shake it. If so its the drive shaft bearing. the bearing is on the shaft near to the gear box end. Spin the wheel and have a listen there. If so then best to get a new drive shaft. Hope this helps

Yeh correct shafts used, wheel bearings seem fine, noise is just a deep thud thud thud ect not like a rattle at all, having the car looked at today as I'm losing the will to live having to spend more money on it , spent best part of £800 on it in thr last 4 months New axle rear hubs ect

Naa this is a rotating part as its speed dependant, the verdict today was its a wheel bearing but there's no play in any of them so its not going to be easy to tell whitch one
