HID Wont work ??

   Hi one of my HID's the other day started flickering now it wont even turn on, iv cheked all the wires and cant see anything visable. Checked the bulb etc however the box dosent make a noise anymore where as the other one does could it be the box thats broke and is their any way to fix it ? ? Thanks

   If its fitted to your Saxo odds are its just cheap junk from China. The HID bulbs that just fit in place a stock Halogen bulb can not be BS, E or DOT marked for such application. In so there not actually road legal and next to no reputable manufactures make them. If your bulbs works on your other ballast then you have a dead ballast that require replacing. Or there so cheap you could just get another full set so you have spares. Or you could stick some nice legal halogen bulbs back in

   You checked the bulb, but did you try changing it?

   Thanks AX and no i havent tried replacing as the box does not even make a noise im sure its something to do with that but ill have a look and change it tomorrow see if it does anything

   Yes the little box is like a started motor you get in strip lights in offices and schools. They often brake is such kits. So if both bulbs work odds are its the box that has died.
