lowering springs

   this might be daft as they are already fitted but which way should the springs go.
   where the coils get closer together on the spring should it be at the top or bottom.

   there making a lot of knocking noises now there lowered. how do i get rid of this

   the springs should tell you which way up they should go, check everything is tight

   the coils should get closer @ the top and be wider @ the bottom mate! but like scott said it should say on them, do you have original shocks or have yu uprated them, if they are standard there maybe some play in them, which is why your gettin a knocking noise!
