Overheating, coolant boiling over.

I've just fitted a new headgasket, new rad, new thermostat, new water waterpump,

It's over heating, fan won't kick in, and coolant is boiling over, now i've bled it 3 times, i've even drained the coolant again and tried bleeding again, when i try to bleed it cold, i can only get coolant to flow through the rad bleed point and the thermostat point, but the heater matrix bleed point will only bleed when the engine is ON.

I've bled saxos many times without problems, but this time round, when i turn the engine off, i can hear a drip actully coming from the block/head, there is no leak what so ever from any pipe?

note: this engine has been sat for about 4 months, but ran fine before i removed it.

update: it doesn't over heat at all when I'm driving it, so that indicates it's the fan at fault, i have tested the fan on the battery and it does work, so must be a faulty temp sensor on the rad? it's the mk1 engine

Change the rad sensor also it might pay you to flush the cooling system through as well.

make sure the rad cap seals properly, ive seen this before people dont close them properly allowing the water to boil. theres more than one reason one we bleed the coolant system as air allows water to boil so by there being no air the water can go hotter without boiling
