Battery problem

   Hi everyone I'm asking a question about a 106 gti here
   The other day the passenger indicator came on and wouldn't go off no matter what we do it won't go off
   I took the stalk apart and cleaned it changed the battery still did nothing
   I was told because I was killing the battery maybe the alternator went so I took it off and got it tested but it came up working fine
   So put it back on the car after cleaning it and the connections but still the light stays on so I thought I would ask you if any of you have had the problem
   It is an engine conversion from 1.4 to the gti engine there maybe a fault in the wiring
   Any ideas guys

   Check the earth for the light mate,also try swapping over the bulb or checking the fitment of it.

   It's all the indicators on the left side so it wouldn't be one bulb
   Fully lost on this problem

   Then i`d say its an earth problem mate.
