new rear axle - axledirect?

I was looking at getting a new rear axle from axledirect - http://www.axledirect.com/store/prod...c-brakes-p-115 -£185 but I read a few bad reviews about them.. anyone have any experience with them? I'm thinking it might be worth spending a bit extra getting one from imaxles instead since everyone seems to recommend them.

Indeed. Before I knew how to do it, I paid £350 labour to get a rear beam fitted. Including new bearings and the refurb'd axle itself, the replacement set me back over £1k.

IM axles are really good, I got one from them all lowered to my choice. its worthing paying that little bit extra for the peace of mind of better service.

ive got an Oilite beam from IM on my saxo, they fitted it for the previous owner. Its done 40K now no problems, they fitted it, lowered it 50mm and put some Apex dampers on all in for around £500 i think the recipt says.

drive in drive out job. Just do that!

It's a bit far for me to travel to (300miles or something) but I don't have the money to lower the car yet anyway, not even sure if I want to. But I'll get the refurbed axle the now and fit it myself (hopefully )

The current IM price is really cheap if you calculate the cost of parts
