Important! : HELP! engine problems

   hi there. i have a 1.6 mk2 vtr and sometimes when i put my foot down mostly on motorways in fifth gear my car doesnt pik speed up its as if it has missed and the petrol hasnt entered or there is a blockage then it piks up as normal again. ive changed the injectors, fuel filter, spark plugs, ive had a new idle control valve but problem still persists i get juddering also and abnormal revs from high to low where it nearly stalls can anyone help me.

   Check the alternator charging rate 1st.

   ok, should it be about 13-14 volts when the car is running?

   well im getting 12 volts from the battery and when i turn car on im gettin 13.6v from the battery

   Have you tried another coil pack?
   
   Highest engine load is low revs, top gear and wide throttle - that would be when a coil pack issue would be most likely to show up. Also if you have bought recently would check someone hasn't jetwashed/steam cleaned engine and got water down the plugs.
