Hello people i will be fitting a new piper rallye cam this weekend to my vtr just really wondering if anyone has ran into much problems when installing the cam its on a 98 black top my mechanic is pretty confident its a straight forward job and a piece of piss! but the cam didnt come with the timing disk so a bit concered on the timing setting up, can you do it without the disk?

i would have thought you dont need it unless you want to fiddle with it..
i would have thought you could put the standard pully back on with the standard timing marks..

Yeah Im thinkin hes right. Although if youre uprating your cams youll probly want to look at uprating your pulleys and your tb's too.
