J4 head oil return port

    can the oil return port ( the push in fitting one on intake cam side ) be plugged? or are the oil galleys and return setup different on the jp4 head

    or my other random thought was to plum into oil breather system from head to catch tank n then back to crank case.....

    Plumbing the catch tank back to the sump is ok if you dont drive in cold weather

    When i drive mine in cold weather the tank is cold and the hot oil vapour causes condensation so you get water in the tank, water that id rather didnt get in to the sump

    yeah i do, get no more than 50ml in 2 weeks and i figured oil temp would evap any

    more interested in the oil port itself, its really bugging me for the routing of hose

    Yeah just plug it, the oil return is internal on a jp4 block so I just plugged it and had no issues.

    I just put a small breather filter onto the pipework off the top of jp4 rocker covers
