A rattle I can't fathom out...

So, last weekend I had the complete front end of my Saxo off, struts, engine, bottom arms, the lot. The only thing still bolted to the shell was the front ARB.

I've got a rattle from the front of the car, which is triggered by moving over uneven road, bumps etc. It's not so much just on potholes and the like, but when it gets a bit bumpy. The noise is probably best described as the rattle from something being bolted between 2 surfaces, and the bolt not tightened enough, so it rattles up and down fairly quickly when stressed. It's light, but definitely there, and doesn't seem to be speed dependent, or corner dependent.

What's baffling me is, I've checked the:

    - Bottom Arm bolts on the 2 subframes where you would bolt an OMP lower brace
    - Bottom Arm bolts inside the footwells underneath the carpet
    - The 3 studs on the strut top mounts
    - The drop links
    - The Track Rod Ends

For the life of me I can't think what else it could be? The suspension is fairly simple on the front of the VTS, and as far as I can see, nothing has any play in it that shouldn't?

Any ideas? It wasn't there before so I'm keen to get it sorted, I don't want the front falling off on track or something lol
