#2Cheap bearings?
-
#3Not rilly the one I fitted was £22 trade he went to other garige and thay charged him £90
-
#4wrong drivehaft to hub matings
check.threads on here about tapered and flat seat hubs -
#5Am sure was the right ones tbf
-
#6well thats the only thing i can suggest that would cause failiures that rapid
other than not doing the hub nuts up tight enough
height really has no effect on bearing life
LSOfreak and lee_vtr1 never had problems both at over 90mm on the front.... -
#7Will have a check but bairing a I have replaced have been like for like will have a look tomorrow as need to replace the drive shaft.
-
#8could be as stated above with the wrong combination.
I once had this on a sierra and it was because i over tightened the big driveshaft nut in the centre of the hub. its meant to be pretty tight anyway, but not knowing how tight and being stupid i just torqued it right up.
about 50 miles later the bearing exploded. -
#9You've replaced the bearings in the struts but ran the wrong driveshafts, so they aren't mating properly.

#10After checking today it is the right set up so any other ideas
