OBD2 or Lexia3 plug?

   Hi guys, I have my EML light on on my Y plate 2001 Saxo 1.1. What I would like to know is, how do I identify which scanner I need from the plug next to the fuse box? I know the scanner changed during 2001 which is the year my car was made, my car technically could be either OBD2 or Lexia3

   not the scanner, but the plug in the car.....doh

   I have done a search with regard to this topic, and it doesnt really help me, so I'm hoping somebody is online that can help me!

   You will have an OBDII socket
