Got an issue with my 106.
Always the fuel gauge has been a bit strange, the needle bobs all over the place and when I go to fill the car it takes ages to fill it to the brim.
When filling it the pump will click, if I left it like that the car would only have 3/4 of a tank. So I pull the nozzle up and fill it slowly but as the diesel runs up the filler neck it's bubbling up the neck and taking a while to flow into the tank.
Today I filled the tank and from the first click it clicked on 27 litres, then I went to fill it to virtually the brim and managed to put 38 litres in it but it took me about 5 minutes to do this, sometimes I don't bother because it takes too long but I did today so I could brim it.
What suggestions do people have? Is it hard to remove the fuel filler neck to clean it out and has anyone had them gunk up before?
