saxo vts alternator

   hi my alternator has gave up on my 2002 saxo vts its a denso one with the plugs on the top i rang citroen today and they told me its a 70amp but all the ones i find are about 95amp does anyone know what amp it should be

   If you gave citroen your reg number then the ampage they guoted is correct for your car.

   it was some place citroen put me through to so id rather not just go on what they say

   Ive just said it in another thread... Dont go to Citroen for these things!
   You'll be better off getting a known to be good used one, or one from a third party.
