misfiring vtr

   car has been misfiring for months every now and again when its cold and then once it warms up its fine. but last night it decided to go th whole way and misfire constantly and keep cutting out when i was out and about. revs were idling below 10 thousand revs. changed th spark plugs not long back, thought it would be th coil pack so bought one of them today got it all fitted checked all th spark plugs and they seemed ok. so put it back together and it started doing th same thing. its got my head battered! anybody know what else to check. injectors maybe? plugs?

   Map sensor,can also cause problems mate.

   I had this problem. Started with the cheapst the fule filte.
   Turned out to be the injectors.
   Id change the fule filter.
   Run some injector cleaner on half a tank fo a stronger mix. See how tthat goes.
   If no luck. Take your injectors out. And give them a good clean with some carb cleaner.
   If it still misses get it on a diagnostics to find out what the problem is (find out what injector is down) in my case it was injetor 1 and 3 . Carb cleaner fixed injector 1 but 3 needed replacing.

   I should hope it idled under 10,000 rpm!

   aparently its my head gasket :/ but im not so sure. my boyfriend mentioned an injector but i dont wanna spend all this money incase its not that. i already bought a coil pack at th weekend cos i thought it was that such a waste of money man. and 1000 revs i meant hahaa

   I know you said you've changed the spark plugs recently... but check the tightness of them incase one has worked loose

   they were loose. but took them out checked them and then put them in again and made sure they were tight

   Ask a garage to do a compression test.

    what spark plugs if its the 4 probe ones they cause my car to miss
