Power steering.. Now I'm peed off

   Replaced a pump that I had to hit to get working
   
   Put new pump on... Now no power steering at all, driveable but really heavy
   
   Checked replay and replaced the pipe I was after fuses are fine
   
   
   I can't here the normal power steering whirl
   
   Could the pump be Fooked should there be that normal whirl noise when moving the steering wheel?

   did you fill it with fluid and bleed it?

   Have you checked the motor? When mine broke it was the electric motor, not the pump.

   How would I check ifits getting power Gandhi
   
   I take it the motor is the plastic side of the unit?
   
   Like I say I can't here any noise from the pump

   unplug its connector, get the car running and check the pins in the connector with a multimeter

    I have the same problem atm, my p/s worked fine before i removed it, now nothing, tried a new unit, and still nothing,
    
    Only thing i can think of is as said, the connector on the loom is damaged.

    Check the earth on the pas wiring & for breaks in the wiring mate.

    Possibly solved... I think the pump is faulty managed to get one real cheap unplugged the on I fitted plugged this spare one in and it pumped loads of fluid out... Undid the pipe on the one that's fitted and started car.... Not even a splatter no drips nothing
    
    So it's gotta be a faulty pump?

    did you try hitting the one fitted to the car with a hammer? could be stuck

    haha i couldnt get mine to work either so wired the ignition live to battery with switch on the dash only really put it on for parking

    Changed pump it worked!!!!!
    
    
    Bled the system..... Came back out started car and it's Fooked again relay is fine
    
    Blowers still blowing....
