Price for new back box fitted?

    My exhaust has started blowing and it seems to be where the centre pipe connects to the back box. Anyone know roughly how much this is going to cost me? I'm totally skint after just buying tyres and a new beam! (And Christmas )

    a new olive clamp on the joint might just sort your problem.

    There's just a big gap where the pipe goes into the back of the back box.. Not sure how to describe it but I could take a picture...

    It could be/ sounds like, the back box has rusted, although a picture Will confirm that.

    Can pick back boxes up dirt cheap. Then fit it yourself. Easy peasy

    will cost peanuts. Brand new standard back box and fitted £40.... so just to have it tightend/ refitted is going to be next to nothing lol

    its easy enough to do yourself or with someone who knows, if not, for the love of god keep away from kwik fit or halfords autocenter!

    I bought a chrome tipped backbox off euro car parts for like £40 and wilco fastfit fitted it for a tenner. Looks decent and sounds alright.
