Belts, water pumps and coolant etc

Right, My cambelt is due to be replaced again this year (I'll probably do it around March). I'll probably just buy the cambelt kit, Alternator drive belt, and water pump from peugeot for easiness (unless anyone else has any other suggestions, Gates kit maybe (I think I read somewhere the proper peugeot belts are made by gates anyway) - there also seems to be two different types of water pump, different number of teeth etc)

Anyway, I'm thinking of changing the coolant from the blue stuff to the long life (normally red) stuff that most new cars use. I know you have to flush all the old coolant out as they don't mix well, but has anyone else tried the long life stuff? (in a ally block, wet liner, silvertop TU1JP HFX - lots of different types of metal in there). Any recommended coolant brands?

Also, worth changing the top engine mount rubber while your there? (the one under the ecu) or just keep the old one?

Just generally finding out as much stuff as I can beforehand .

Get the right water pump for your engine, suppliers will go on the reg of your car for this usually.
Coolant flush is always recommended plus dont mix blue and red, I use the red OAT 5 year stuff it should be fine in a TU engine. Basically you remove the thermostat and flush the block through with clean water from a hose then refit everything and fill up with your new coolant.
Engine mount wise, its worth changing it if you can for peace of mind but you may find the lower mount under the gearbox has deteriorated more
