106 gti engine into 1.1 saxo

   thinking about an engine conversion on my 1.1 saxo. either 1.6 vtr of 106 gti.
   just wondered if anyone knows all the parts i'd need and how hard it would be. i want to go for the gti engine just for the extra power but i wanna do it on a budget if possible

   This question has been asked (and answered 100's) of times have a search through the forum. There are also a few threads showing people progress of doing this.
   Your best bet is to get a written off donor car thats been hit up the arse or just buy VTR/S (bear in mind your 1.1 doesn't have the VT trim so that will be another job.

   Mate been covered more times than I can remember,please search.Also insuring a conversion will be a headache.
