Mk1 to Mk2

   Search isn't working on my phone and I'm sure its been asked plenty of times but...
   
   
   Is it just a case of...Slam panel, bonnet, bumper, lights, wings to convert the front end of a mk1 to a mk2? Is the slam panel a straight swap or will it need modifying?

   I believe there is some cutting of the inner wings in order to convert to the mk2 mate.

   there used to be a guide iirc
   
   i have done this
   and also the other way 2-1 and you need to cut about 2" off the inner wings at the front on a mark 1
   not hard
   put the wing in place mark where the front sits cut to your mark

   I'm guessing once you gather all the parts for the swap its just common sense of what to do with the cutting on the wings
