gearbox??

    hello everyone just brought my self a vtr on a y reg looking foward to driving it but the gearbox has failed i have brought a gearbox with the code 20cd32 which i was told will fit the saxo but before i pull it apart is this correct and it will fit many thanks

    If its from a saxo or 106 it will fit no matter what as as long as u get the right clutch u may aswell change that considering u have to take the gearbox out mate

    Check the code for the gearbox against a list, theres one on this site if you search. Personally if it were me I wouldnt fit another VTR or Diesel box depending on what it turns out to be

    was just told it came from a peugeot what sort of price is a clutch kit

    Like I said if its a 106 or saxo gearbox it will fit Erm depends what brand of clutch u go for if u can get it trade then for a cheaply clutch probably 45 quid mate

    i have typed it in on google and says it from a 206 1.4 so it i take it that means its no good was lucky i only gave £20 for it

    find out what the final drive is, it might be better as the 206 is a bigger car using the same engine so it might be OK. Providing the bell housing and linkage mechanisms are the same, I believe they are but dont quote me on that
