passenger door wont shut

    My passenger door wont shut if I just shut it normally, only way I can close it is to push the door up and slam it, otherwise it just bounces back. IS it just a case that the door needs lifting and if so how

    If this was anything like mine, the door simply refused to shut flush to the car
    I ended up changing the door lock - sorted the problem straight away
    Try tighten stuff up/adjust stuff around - you'll have the lock as the last resort - like I did!

    Happend to me too but i slammed the door hard so it did eventually shut...however it wouldnt open again and the locking mechanism had collapsed...sooo try changing the mechanism

    Adjust the striker plate on the body of the car,if the door has dropped then have someone sit in the car place a block of wood under the door & gently with a trolley jack raise it up.I mean very gently btw don`t use too much force or you run the risk of snapping the door hinge.
