Passenger side knock

   On my mates vts it has a knock sometimes mainly pulling away sounds as if its the passenger side front not too sure what could be but some one said its probably the rear axel but sounds too much around the front to be that

   Check the engine mounts.

   Passenger side, likely to be a balljoint/wishbone problem.
   
   Check the nuts for the rear bush are tight (peel back the carpet)
   Check the ball joint for wear
   
   If they are fine, then it could be a shock absorber. the big nut can come loose and when you accelerate and the suspension extends at the front it can knock.
   
   another source is the exhaust-gearbox bolt is loos
   
   OR my favourite on, is re-torquing the lower gearbox-floor mount. even if it's slighty untorqued it will knock like a bitch.

   We're doing the gear box on it at the weekend so will be taking tho mounts off anyway so ill check the ball joints too
