mk2 there isn't a bolt on upgrade, but the mk1 blacktop will accept a rallye inlet, this is due to the different port spacing used on mk1 and mk2 8vs
Okay mate I no was cinder if getting a custom intake manifold made up for me from somewhere but I managed to did a thread about the standard plastic intake is good for 20psi and let's the turbo spool up quicker so I'm two minds now

Just keep the original, unless you get an s1 rallye inlet ( I think)
Mines fine withe boost and is on full boost at around 2750rppm so it spools prettys fast

If your looking to change it because your worried that the standard one won't hold the boost, then you shouldn't worry as its good for probably atleast 1 bar of boost
If your looking to get a bit more power, it might be worth looking at a blacktop head and a ralleye inlet if your prepared to change the head

If yours is 2000 model as your dp states and is single plug then you can fit a rallye inlet
