Lowering springs

I want to lower my saxo eastcoast, I was thinking about just buying lowering springs as I can't afford coilovers but the only springs I can find are for vtr/vts would they still for on a eastcoast ????

yes, all 106/ saxo springs will fit

the amount they lower will be different though due to the weight of the engine (bigger the engine the more lower) and the fact that lower engine'd saxos are higher as standard

I'd need to know if they fit, I don't really want to buy them for them not to fit.

Thay lower the 1.1 the same as the vtr due to the plastic arches

    yeah they will fit

and im pretty sure youre wrong about them lowering the same height lol

If u remove the plastic arches of a vtr/s and measure the hight from the top of the arches to the tyre them do the same when lowered. Then do the same with a 1.1 flaty you will have the same distance.

Would you send them ? If so how much in total ?

Gmax and very good springs shouldn't be put together unless they are seperated by a few other words IMO.

But, if it's purely for looks, they're fine.

I only think..thay might be apex come to think of it. but dont hold me to it. if I remember rightly thay was alright improved the handling massively. If I hadn't gone for coilovers I'd still be using them and I'm not a person who goes for looks

going from eibach and spax to gmax , they felt wayy to soft and bouncy. felt like standard handling. Was a comfortable ride though, just shit handling

Oh I see lol well to be honest I don't really have to money for the better springs at the moment as I'm a student and I've got £300 a month insurance to pay on a part time job so I just want something to make my car lower and look half decent and to lower the body roll
  23. #23
theyll do the job of lowering then
  24. #24
    There yellow.
