Important! : clunking a mad one!

    me and my mate fitted a new rear axle but since, from time to time, when the engine turns over, there is an almighty clunk. getting more and more often...

    also happens when i fully engage reverse and rev, even a little

    is it a cracked manifold when the exhaust hung while fitting the new rear axle?

    told my mate to pick us up and stalling in 2nd, clunk was deafening!

    doesnt clunk any other time, dump th clutch, or not. any suggestions?

    Where's the clunk coming from? Front or rear?
