i think 95% of saxo's only work on #3 it could be either the switch or the resistor in the motor it self

thats just the blower not the heating, check the resistor.

    Check the resistor 100%

How many times you don`t need to remove the dash.

    Where is the resistor?
  8. #8
Its actually on the blower motor itself

    And it's easily replaceable?

    Is there a guide anywhere?

Remove the front wiper motor and your see the inlet for the fan there it's two bolts 10mm on if once you losing them go to the drivers side foot well pull down the cover ya see the fan tucked up there pull the air duck pipe out as its in the way and grab the fan and pull it down its as easy as that anless you want to ripe the dash out witch will set you back about 3hours to a day doing it its not rocket science lad one of the easiest jobs you could do tbh

Lift bonnet and remove scuttle in front of windscreen
    Remove wiper motors & wipers
Disconnect in footwell from pipes and take out pipes
Undo 2 x 10mm nuts (or is it bolts, I forget?)
Lift heater unit out of the car and replace
Reverse the above process to put the car back together...

Definitely not 3 hours work though
